Townapps is a team of technology and business professionals who understand the real power of mobile apps to deliver your message.


The business has recently expanded and is focused on developing an international network of localised apps that aim to be the standard bearer in their sector.


The Brief: 

In conjunction with Townapps’ international expansion they were in need of a rebrand to present a professional, global image. The main consideration was the design of an overall group brand and a style system for the addition of localised partner brands. Each identity needed to align with the Townapps family and reinforce the brand message.


What We Did: 

Graphic Index conducted a brand audit to review the existing brand and explore new opportunities. The existing goodwill and brand recognition were considered throughout the design process. We focused on the core message “your town in the palm of your hand” and created a logo that visualised this idea.

We then worked closely with Townapps technical team in designing  stylesheets and guidelines for the core app design that has the flexibility to expand to hundreds of apps presented in a cohesive and consistent fashion. The designs carefully adhere to the specifications of a full range of mobile devices across both the android and ios environments.
