Heartworks Handmade Gifts create slate products from salvaged materials.

Using a mix of traditional and modern tools and techniques they transform this ancient material into Clocks, Mirrors, Picture Frames and Commission Pieces for wedding gifts, birthday gifts and other special occasions.

The Brief:

Graphic Index were initially contracted to design a product brochure and price list that would communicate Heartworks’ craftsmanship and the high quality of their products.

What We Did:

Graphic Index examined the existing Heartworks brand design and explored how to retain and enhance the successful elements therein. We developed a brand style and colour palate that would be true to the integrity of the business. The distinctive artistry that Mauricio Martino brings to his creations and his amazing photography were our main reference points as we established the mood and theme of the identity. We designed brochures, price lists, business cards, labels, signage and exhibition material.
We have continued a strong working relationship with Maurico and Monica and help them maintain the brand integrity as their marketing and advertising needs evolve.
